Nancy Reagan Basket of Strawberries
This ornamental basket of strawberries was presented to Mrs Maeve Hillery, wife of His Excellency, President of Ireland, Dr Patrick Hillery, by Nancy Reagan wife of US President Ronald Reagan, during a State Visit to Ireland, June 1984.
After arriving in Shannon, the Reagan's visited Galway, Ballyporeen in County Tipperary (the Reagan ancestral home), and Dublin to address Dail Eireann.
