Craft Classes at Clare Museum

As part of its adult education programme, a series of traditional crafts classes will be open to the public at Clare Museum on most Thursday nights over the next two months, commencing on Thursday, October 6th.

Kate Clohessy will present the opening class, which is on calligraphy, while two weeks later the craft of spinning and will be explained by Nelli Sebert.

Quilting and sewing will be on the agenda with Rachel Banting on November 10th, while Paula McNamara will show people how to make homemade Christmas Cards on November 17th.

There will be classes on sugán chair making with Wayne Cantrell-Jones on November 24th, December 1st and December 8th. Most of these classes are free and commence each night at 6pm.
