Exhibit Appeal from Clare Museum
The Clare Champion, Friday, September 30, 2011
By Jessica Quinn
Clare Museum is appealing to the people of Clare to get involved in their temporary exhibition on childhood, Seen But Not Heard.
The museum is seeking toys, books, schoolbooks, even childhood clothes along with a memory relating to the object from any time in the past up to the present day from members of the public.
“We will then add the artefacts to the collection to give the exhibition a little bit of a Clare flavour”, said John Rattigan, museum curator.
Clare Museum is also providing a digital education pack for schools on the exhibit, with fun activities for classes of all ages including games from the past, a make your own museum project and activity sheets for touring the exhibit.
For booking information on any of these please contact Paula McNamara, education officer, or John Rattigan, museum curator, at 065-6823382 or firstname.lastname@example.org
