Delegates from museums from all over the country are set to arrive in Ennis next month for the Irish Museums Association spring seminar.
The event is hosted by
the Clare Museum and the seminar’s title is “Collecting today
for tomorrow: balancing vision with resources”. Some 150 delegates are
expected to attend the seminar at the Old Ground Hotel which runs from March
5-7 and features speakers from Ireland, the United Kingdom and Sweden. The
programme of events also includes civic receptions at the Clare Museum and
Glór, a gala dinner at the Temple Gate Hotel and a tour of the Burren.
