Talk on the O’Brien’s Foreign Policy in Medieval times

Continuing Continuing the Hidden Clare series of lectures at Clare Museum, well-known Clare historian Dr Rosemary Power will give a public talk on Brian Borumha'a biography, the Camel from Scotland and Irish Foreign Affairs around the year 1100, on Saturday, 2nd March.

The talk gives an Irish perspective on the international context in which the O’Brien Kings operated. Dr Power is a historian and associate with CAMPS at NUIG and has a book on Scattery Island coming out this year.

The lecture will begin at 2.30 pm at Clare Museum and Admission is Free.
