Celebrating St Bridget’s Day at Clare Museum
Friday, January 31, 2014
On Saturday morning, Clare Museum will host an event for young children to mark St Bridget’s Day. Ruth Marshall will give a short workshop of storytelling and crafts for young children and their parents at the museum. Ruth specialises in telling stories of the seasons, and folk tales from County Clare. Children will also get an opportunity to make St Bridget’s crosses from reeds collected locally.
Workshops will be held
at 10.00 am and 11.30 am, and admission is free. As space is limited, it is
advised to book in advance to avoid disappointment by calling John Rattigan,
curator, at 065-6823382.
