Eithne and Paddy Kelly, Ardnacolla South, Ennistymon Paddy brought in a number of objects used by his wife Eithne and his family over the years. The large round tin dish is a bread pan which Eithne has used every day for the last 50 years for making bread. She has been unable to replace it as there are no bread pans like it available anymore. Also included in the picture are two old jam pots, one is to hold one pound of jam the other can contain up to two pounds. Both of these are ceramic, the larger one is stoneware and may be up to 100 years old. The
reaping hook was found in a loft on the family farm and was used before
Paddy and Eithne’s time.
