Pottery Sherd This broken piece of beaker pottery dates from the Early Bronze Age (c 2,000 BC) and was found in a cist grave at Poulawack. This grave was used for almost 2,000 years from the Middle Neolithic to the Early Bronze Age, and contained the remains of 16 men, women and children. Most of the burials were placed within stone cists (boxes) and some were cremated. Ref: E25:04 Ceramics
