Compromise Rules Football
Gaelic Football and Australian Rules Football are indigenous sports to Ireland and Australia respectively. They are similar enough for a compromise game to have been invented and now an international test series is played between the two countries annually.
In 1986 Noel Roche became the first Clare footballer to represent his country at the hybrid game.
