Breviary   

This Roman Catholic breviary dates back to 1675 and was presented by William T Cosgrave to Dr Michael Fogarty, Bishop of Killaloe in 1937. It was subsequently given by the Bishop to the Sisters of Mercy, Ennis, who kindly loaned it to the museum.

The book has a full calf skin bind sewn into flexible line cords which are laced into beech binding boards.
