Faith: The Riches of Clare

Reminders of the strong faith held by generations of Clare people can be seen all over the county. This section treats the influence of Christianity in all aspects of life in Clare. It takes the visitor from the early Christian period with the excavations at Inis Cealtra through to the Sisters of Mercy congregation who occupied the museum building until recent years.
