Shape :	oval, east-west axis slightly greater than north-south one.

Description of site:
Though not represented on editions of the O.S. Sheets this is supposed to be the site of a damaged barrow. So claims E. Rynne, Department of Archaeology, University College, Galway, who has expressed an interest in excavating the site.

The outline can now only be observed by examining crop marks. These suggest an area slightly oval in shape with an east-west internal diameter of 34 metres and a north-south one of 31 metres. This is surrounded by a fosse, 3 metres wide. The central part of this supposed barrow is on a slight natural rise with the land falling away in all directions.

Locals did not know of the existence of a possible archaeological site in this area.
