| Callaghan's-Mills
A village, in the parish of Killurane, barony of Tulla, county of Clare, and province of Munster, 3 miles (S.W.) from Tulla : the population is returned with the parish. It is situated on the high road from Six-mile-bridge to Scariff, and about midway on the road from Tulla to Broadford. Fairs are held on May 8th, June 27th, and Nov. 14th. Here is a R. C. chapel of ease to the parochial chapel of Kilkishen, in which a school is also held under the superintendence of the curate. County Clare A History and Topography
