1609 Turlough McMahon 1609. Turlough McMahon, son of Teige, Lord of East Corcovaskin (who was inaugurated chief, 1568, and died 1594,[22] being fourteenth in descent from Turlough, Monarch of Ireland, who died 1086). Turlough, March 5th, 1607, got a licence to hold fairs at Kilmurry McMahon[23], Lord of West Corcovaskin, whose estates were confiscated for rebellion, and given to the O’Briens, afterwards Lords Clare. |
