1675. Walter Hickman of Donogrogue, brother of Thomas, 1671, held Clare Castle under the Commonwealth, and resided at Donogrogue, 1680;^[57] J.P. for Clare, July, 1678;^[58] had a grant of Casserna from Carey Dillon, 1st August, 1670;^[59] ancestor of the Kilmore Hickmans; married Elizabeth, daughter of Henry Hart, commissioner-general.
