Welcome to the Clare Heritage Newsletter, ‘Clare Heritage Focus’. This biannual publication will deal with heritage issues throughout the county. This newsletter is an action under the Clare Heritage Plan 2003-2007, a partnership Heritage Plan prepared by the Clare Heritage Forum. The scope of the newsletter is to inform the public on the wide range of Heritage initiatives within the county and the activities of the County Heritage Officer.

Congella McGuire, Heritage Officer is responsible for the implementation of the Clare Heritage Plan and in promoting all aspects of Clare’s Heritage as defined by the Heritage Act, 1995.
