Location and Brief Description:
Tulla a rather large village situated off the main
road from Tulla to Ennis road; 10 miles from Ennis, 19 miles from Limerick
and 18 from Killaloe. It is situated on three sides of a rather high hill.
There are 13 public houses and about the same number of shops in the grocery
and hardware. It is a rather bad business village as most of the inhabitants
go to Limerick or Ennis on buses which pass from Portumna and Feakle.
