Tulla a rather large village situated off the main
road from Tulla to Ennis road; 10 miles from Ennis, 19 miles from Limerick
and 18 from Killaloe. It is situated on three sides of a rather high hill.
There are 13 public houses and about the same number of shops in the grocery
and hardware. It is a rather bad business village as most of the inhabitants
go to Limerick or Ennis on buses which pass from Portumna and Feakle.

Only park is the Dr. Daly Memorial Park situated on the main road from
Ennis to Scariff about a ½ mile from village. It is to the memory
of Dr. Daly one of the greatest goal-keepers hurling has seen.
