| Ardsallis
A village on the Ardsallis river, 6 miles above its embouchure, Co. Clare, Munster. It stands on the road from Ennis to Limerick, about 3½ miles east-south-east of Clare, and upwards of 5 north-west of Six-mile-Bridge. It was formerly noted for its horse fairs and horse-racing.
