GENERAL CRITERIA:
- All schools are welcome to apply but only one offer per school can be accommodated.
- All schools are eligible to enter but preference will be given to schools who have not participated previously.
- Clare County Council will contact all applicants
to advise them of the outcome of their application. This decision is
final and the Council reserves the right to refuse an application without
entering into correspondence in the matter.
1. ARTIST IN SCHOOLS SCHEME
The closing date for completed application forms
and proposals is 4.30 pm on Friday, October 8th, 2010.
Late applications will not be considered.
Selected schools will be advised in writing of approval for the residency
prior to Friday, October 22nd, 2010.
If successful participating schools are required to draw up an agreement with their chosen artist before the residency begins and to send a copy of same to the Arts Office. This agreement should be cognisant of the Artist~Schools Guidelines devised by the Arts Council and the Department of Education.
Each participating school must complete an evaluation form on completion of the residency and this must be submitted to the Arts Office by June 30th, 2011.
This scheme is supported by Clare County Council and the Arts Council of Ireland.
