AIM OF THE SCHEME
The Arts Office of Clare County Council
invites submissions for this scheme, the aim of which is to give pupils
the opportunity to work with a professional artist on a once-off project
to be planned between the artist and the school. The scheme is open to
artists from any artistic discipline including visual arts and crafts,
music, dance, drama, literature, film, architecture, photography, and
new media. The scheme will be offered in two strands: Arts Space and Arts
Days

for 30 hours.
Arts Days
The project will fund a one day specific workshop in
the school.

Points to note when making an application:
- No school is automatically entitled to a residency.

and the quality of the partnership demonstrated between the school and
the artist. The Artist~Schools guidelines'
may assist you in this regard.
- If a mural is being proposed the project must clearly
outline how a 30 hour residency will be spent on a mural.
- Applications will be marked along the following lines:
- Quality of the application (time frame / realistic
/ creative) (40 marks)
- Quality of artists work (30 marks)
- Potential to leave a creative impact on the school
(30 marks)
