Nicola has set up the art in schools programme which over the last six years has formed a major part of the Iniscealtra festival of Arts in Mountshannon.   Working with 5-6 schools in the area she organises and runs classes based around contemporary art from the collection of the Irish Museum of Modern Art in Dublin.   Nicola is responsible for the theme and selection and the classes have covered different aspects of art and craft e.g. painting, mono-printing, dyeing, batik banner making, watercolour and wax resist painting, collage, charcoal, indian ink, clay modelling and paper making etc.
