Cardiff international poetry competition

The Welsh Academy’s prestigious international poetry competition has been running for 14 years. Judges for this year’s competition are Wendy Cope and Roger McGough. For an entry fee of £4 stg. per room, you stand a chance to win a first prize of £3000, with 2nd and 3rd prizes of £700, £300 and 5 runner up prizes of £200.

Poems should be no longer than 50 lines. The usual rules and conditions apply. Entry forms are available from: Academi Cardiff, PO Box 438, Cardiff CF10 5YA, Wales, UK. Closing date for entries is 30th June.
