The Arts Office of Clare County Council is currently developing an arts programme in conjunction with the disability sector in Clare.

The aim of the arts programme is two fold:
1. To encourage people with disabilities to participate in arts activities
2. To build the capacity of people with disabilities to enhance their own creativity.
The Arts Office would like to hear from artists in all disciplines, preferably with
experience of working with disabled people, interested in developing such a programme. The
Arts Office is particularly interested in hearing from disabled artists who may wish to
become involved in such a programme.
It is envisaged that a series of taster workshops will initiate the project and following
an evaluation process that a defined programme will be drawn up, inclusive of all the
players: artists, participants and organisations.
