Disability Arts Programme - Artists Wanted

The Arts Office of Clare County Council is currently developing an arts programme in conjunction with the disability sector in Clare. 

Organisations involved include

The aim of the arts programme is two fold:
1. To encourage people with disabilities to participate in arts activities
2. To build the capacity of people with disabilities to enhance their own creativity.

The Arts Office would like to hear from artists in all disciplines, preferably with experience of working with disabled people, interested in developing such a programme. The Arts Office is particularly interested in hearing from disabled artists who may wish to become involved in such a programme.

It is envisaged that a series of taster workshops will initiate the project and following an evaluation process that a defined programme will be drawn up, inclusive of all the players: artists, participants and organisations.

Expected renumeration per session / hour etc?

Candidates maybe asked to meet with the organisations involved to discuss their ideas in greater detail.
Closing date for receipt of summaries is October 6th, 2000.
