All applications to use the Foyer
Space must be made with Siobhán Mulcahy, Arts Officer, County Library
Headquarters, Mill Road, Ennis, Co. Clare.

Applications must be made in writing.
Successful applications are at the discretion of the Arts Officer.
The Arts Officer reserves the right to refuse an exhibition without
giving any reason.

Artists wishing to use the space
should include a CV and photographs / slides of the work they propose
to show. These will be returned.

Artist groups wishing to use the
space should include a list of members participating. CVs and photographs
/ slides may be requested at the Arts Officers discretion.

The Foyer space is provided free
of charge. No rent or commission on sales is charged. No payments
made to artists exhibiting there.

The artist will hang all his/her
own work from the picture hooks / balcony in the foyer. No nails are
to be placed in the walls without permission from the Arts Officer.
No signs / displays in the Museum are to be covered by the artists.
Artists will be guided at all times by the Arts Officer / Museum Attendants
in relation to hanging of work. No sellotape is to be used on the
walls.

A full list of works listing title,
media, size and proice must be submitted to the Arts Officer once
the exhibition is installed.

Artists are welcome to arrange
their own openings in the foyer. The Museum cannot facilitate exhibition
openings outside of normal opening hours. It is the responsibility
of the artist to cover all costs associated with openings. Artists
are required to liaise with the museum curator if they wish to arrange
an opening.

Invitations for opening should
be issued by the artist and should not include the Museum telephone
number as an R.S.V.P.

The Museum should be acknowledged
in all publicity relating to the exhibition.

It is the responsibility of the
artist to look after sales. The Museum will not handle sales for the
artist.

It is the policy of the County
Arts Office not to allow artists exhibit in the Museum foyer and the
Gallery at the De Valera Library simultaneously. It is the policy
of the County Arts Office to promote a variety of exhibitions, consequently
repeat exhibitors may be accommodated, but will not be given priority.

All works on show are the responsibility
of the artists. The Museum is not responsible for invigilation of
the Foyer space. The Museum assumes no responsibility for work damaged,
stolen or destroyed. The artist exhibits at his/her own risk.
