An English magazine of love poetry, How Do I Love Thee, is running its fifth 'Open Competition For Love Poetry'. First prize is £500, second prize £100, third and fourth prizes of £50, plus 20 special commendations with awards of £10 book tokens. All winning and commended poems will be published in the magazine. Any number of poems may be entered if acccompanied by the entry fee (£3 per poem). Poems must be the original work of the entrant, and must not have been previously published in book form. A separate A4 sheet must accompany each submission, with the authors name and address and a list of the poems’ titles and/or first lines (entrant’s name must not appear on the poems). Cheques should be made payable to Poetry Life, and entries sent to How Do I Love Thee Magazine, Poetry Life Publishing, 1 Blue Ball Corner, Water Lane, Winchester, Hampshire, SO23 OER. Closing date is 29th April 2000.
