Myriad Dance (Wexford) has been awarded a Dance Project Award by the Arts Council this
year. The company, originally formed as an education and community based dance
company in 1994, has reformed under the direction of Deirdre Grant. With this new
project, the company aims to produce two new contrasting professional works for the
company, one choreographed by Deirdre Grant and the second by Bríd Malone. The
production will be premiered at the Wexford Opera Festival in late October followed by a
tour in November.
The company are currently looking for male and female dancers with strong performance
abililty and an interest in theatre/inter-disciplinary work would be an advantage, for a
full time contract starting in September.
