| Guidelines for Applications for the Tulla Stable Studios | ||||
| Tulla Stables Studios
The Tulla Stables Studios is an award winning studio resource for artists of all disciplines set in the East Clare village of Tulla, approximately 10 miles from Ennis. It comprises of six individual studios each with power and water, 4 with a mezzanine for storage, an exhibition/ workshop space (short-term artist studio), a kiln, toilets and showers. There is broadband in each of the studios and the facility has private parking. APPLICATION PROCEDURE 1) 2 x cover letters to include

N.B. On no account should original work / master copies be submitted. LETTINGS One studio is available immediately. A panel of artists will be put in place for the allocation of other studios that may arise over the next twelve months After this the artist can apply for an extension of the licence for a period of up to 4 years and 9 months. SELECTION OF ARTISTS The committee relies solely on the information supplied in the applications received. The committee reserves the right to shortlist artists on the basis of applications received and to call artists for interview where necessary. Interviews will take place on 20th September 2011. Shortlisted applicants will be notified of interview times on or before Friday, September 16th, 2011. The committee reserves the right to have a panel of artists in place if studios become available at short notice. Canvassing will disqualify. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ACCEPTANCE Each artist will be required to pay €150 per month by standing order for the studio inclusive of heat, light, etc. A deposit of €150 will be required once a studio is awarded and this will be repaid to the artist once the studio has been vacated and is deemed to be left in good working order by the County Council. All artists agree to be bound by the operational rules and terms and conditions of the Tulla Stables, which shall be provided to them when an offer of a studio is made.
