£5000 Cash Prize £5000 Recording Deal (Celtic Note)
Applicants must be aged between 18 & 25 years of age, (aged 18 by 1st January 2000 and age 25 no later than 31st March 2000). Entry forms can be obtained from all venues and Irish Music Magazine.
Nation-wide heats will take place at the following venue:
Clare – Old Ground Hotel, Ennis, Wednesday, 22nd March.
The Final, which is due to be televised, will take place in April 2000.
This competition is now the Premier Young Traditional Musician Award sporting a 1st Prize to the value of £10,000, which consists of £5,000 Cash and a £5,000 recording deal with Celtic Note Records. This is the largest 1st Prize for any Irish Traditional Competition ever.
