"
IN-UNDER-OVER-OUT "
IN-UNDER-OVER-OUT is the second phase of a public art project, Ground
Up, intitiated by the Arts Office of Clare County Council, to bring
together artists and audiences in County Clare. Five artists - Vincent Wall
of Ennistymon, Maria Kerin of New Quay, Deirdre O' Mahony of Kilnaboy, John
Langan originally from Ennis and Aileen Lambert from Wexford are working together
on this project. They have selected a geographical area defined by a line
south of Deer Island and west from Hag's Head for their research. As part
of the project, they will be consulting with the community of North Clare
at various shows taking place in the county.
The first work
will take place to coincide with the Ennistymon Agricultural Fair on Sunday
June 6th. A slide show of work will be shown in Ennistymon Community
College [on the way up to the Fall's Hotel] on that day - all are invited
to attend and to contribute ideas, stories, thoughts and conversation.
