A weekend of events has been organised to commemorate the life of Dr. Edward MacLysaght 1887-1986. Following the publication of Eamon Mhic Giolla Iasachta by Seán Ó Ceallaig it was decided that a fitting tribute should be made in order to help perpetuate his memory. The events will be held in Tuamgraney and will run for the weekend from Friday May 21st to Sunday the 23rd. The weekend is being organised by a local committee The Edward MacLysaght Commemoration Project and with the help of members of An Clár as Gaeilge.
