excellent model, in a relaxed environment. Long and short poses, studying form and light,
and some moving studies. Using pencil, charcoal and, if you wish, watercolours. You may
also use the studio space after the class finishes, up to 8p.m. Cost 50 euros.

Portraiture: Suitable for students with some drawing or painting experience, rather than
complete beginners. Saturday 2nd April 10.30a.m. - 3.30 p.m.Studying the face, from a live
model and from photographs. Drawing first then moving on to paint when students feel
comfortable. Spaces are restricted in this class, to make the most of the model.
Cost 60 euros
ART AT THE PARK Booking: Numbers are limited on all the courses, particularly the portrait
class. Places must be booked and paid for in advance. Tea/coffee and biscuits is provided,
but please bring a sandwich , etc. for your own lunch. A list of materials required will
be sent to you upon booking. Courses are held in a purpose-built studio surrounded by

entertaining programme. Promoted by the Kirush Arts Network. This Project has been

This free event will provide young and old with the opportunity of trying out a selection
of arts and crafts including different types of Visual Art, Patchwork making, Flower
arranging, Basketry, Pottery, Wool crafts, childrens arts etc. It is hoped that this day
will generate enough interest to justify running a series of classes in some of the arts

- An exhibition of 75 paintings from some of County Clare's disabled artists. The Clare
Arts Office 'Embrace' scheme helps people with disabilities take part in all aspects of
the arts and has assisted in providing classes for these students from the Brothers of
Charity, Enable Ireland and the Irish Wheelchair Association. This exhibition is kindly
supported by the Mid Western Health Board and the Arts Council of Ireland.
