Willie Clancy Sculpture

In 2011, retired American couple, Judith and Barry Merrill commissioned local sculptor Shane Gilmore to create a life size sculpture of Willie Clancy

The sculpture was cast in Seamus Connolly's foundry in Kilbaha, Co.Clare and on October 17th it made the journey back to Miltown Malbay in advance of its official unveiling on Saturday, November 9th, 2013.
