10 December	Ellen Murphy, New York based historian “Still True to the Republic: the executions of Con Mc Mahon and Patrick Hennessy” – research instigated by the chance finding of a letter sheds light on County Clare during the Civil War.
14 January	Christine Grant, Archaeologist, National Monuments Section, Planning and Heritage Division “Current Research on Prehistoric Settlement in the Burren”
11 February	Sarah Halpin, Conservation Officer, Dublin City Council “The Built Heritage of Clare’s Coast” – based on research into piers, look-out posts, coastguard buildings etc around Clare.
10 March	Fr Michael Mc Craith, OFM, Irish Department, NUI Galway “An Irish view of counter-reformation Rome: Tadhg O’Cianain’s Turas na nIarlaí
