| Description: | Cumann Merriman (The Merriman Society) was founded in 1967 to commemorate Brian Merriman and his work and in addition, to promote interest in every aspect of Irish culture: the Irish language, Irish history, literature and music. These aims are achieved through the organisation of an annual Summer School and Winter School. |
