The school offers Irish dancing classes, swimming lessons, speech and drama classes and music tuition to its pupils and hosts an annual Christmas concert. Competitions participated in include the West Clare Dancing Feis, Feilogra (a music competion at Maoin Cheoil an Chlair) and the Church and General Primary Schools football competition.

The school also takes part in community games/Doonbeg Drama Art competitions, etc., Skipathon (raising funds for Irish Heart Foundation), Annual school Kun (school funds), Dancing Feis - Cooraclare, Irish Kidney Association Quiz/Credit Union Quiz.

The school recently took part in the St. Patrick’s Day Cards Competition and regularly takes part in Art and Craft Competitions.
