Speech and drama, music, art and creative dance are integrated into the shcool curriculum. A very successful Christmas concert was put on for parents in December. Every child participated. |
| Events: | A local Credit Union Quiz was participated in. The mini-sevens competition entered for senior classes. Boys and girls football team will be entered. The I.N.T.O. handwriting competition, Texaco and Esso art competitions entered. Currently participating in the Tesco Computers For Schools and the Irish Independent tokens for Schools Competitions. We will also be participating in the West Clare Local Area Plan. |

Teacher. The children had a very successful trip to the Black Box Theatre in Galway to see Barnstorm's Production of "Kevin's Story" by Maeve Ingolsby. The children will go to the Beltable in Limerick on February 27th to see "The Bus" also written by the same author. It is envisaged that Maeve Ingolsby might visit the school sometime in the forseeable future to talk about and discuss creative writing and different aspects about both plays. |
