Carrigaholt
N.S. pays particular attention to the environment being prize winners in
the Clare County Council Adopt an Area competition for two years in succession.
They were also joint first winners in a can recycling project in 1997 and
joint first prize winners in the E.S.B. Environmental Awareness Awards ‘98/’99
in the Munster area.
Pupils are taught tin whistle and Irish dancing at the school and attend swimming lessons at the nearby Kilkee Waterworld. The school has won various Art Competitions. After-school activities include Speech & Drama, Fiddle, and Concertina. |
