Our school has a remedial teacher.
The school celebrated 50 years in the current building in 2002.
Recently the children from 5th and 6th classes visited the "Riches of Clare" Museum in Ennis to carry out some research, make drawings, etc. It was a wonderful experience, one that we would recommend.
Activities: We are currently involved in the pilot scheme for Modern Languages in the primary school. French is taught to 5th and 6th classes twice a week.
We have a history of being successful in Art competitions including Sherkin Island Marine Station Competition and Modern Language Design-a-Poster Competition.
