Notes: St. Senan’s Primary School is a co-educational school with classes from junior infants to Sixth class. It also provides a range of services for Remedial Education and Children with Special Needs.
Activities:
Modern Languages
St. Senan’s Prmary School was chosen by the Dept. of Education & Science to participate in the pilot programme on Modern Languages. Since September 1998, all students in 5th and 6th classes study French for an hour and a half each week.

IT 2000 Computer Studies
Children in all classes have access to computers promoted by the IT 2000 Initiative for Schools.

Sport
All classes from Senior Infants to 6th avail of swimming lessons at Kilkee Waterworld. Other sports include soccer, football and basketball.

Pupils at St Senan’s School are regular participants in the National Children’s Choir. Children from all over Ireland learn a large repertoire of songs which are performed at regional venues and finally in The National Concert Hall, Dublin.

Raising awareness among pupils of the needs of Third World countries is part of the school’s philosophy. The school recently raised funds for Kosovo which was donated to The Red Cross Society.
