Ennistymon Public Library has a stock of over 16,400 books for adults, and 9,400 books for children.
Music (on CD) and film (on DVD) collections are also available for borrowing, and there are seven free public access internet PCs.

Brief history of Ennistymon Public Library. February 1981 saw the opening of a purpose-built branch library and County Council Offices, just off the Square in Ennistymon.
