The new Scariff Public Library was opened in 2007 and shares the same building as Clare County Council’s Area Office. The building also contains an exhibition space and was designed and constructed with accessibility in mind.

Scariff Public Library has a stock of over 12,900 books for adults, and 10,600 books for children.
Music (on CD) and film (on DVD) collections are also available for borrowing, and there are eight free public access internet PCs.

Adult Book Club
Book Club meetings are held monthly.
New members are always welcome.

Scrabble Club
Scrabble club meetings are held on Tuesdays, 10am to 1pm.
Scrabble boards and tea/coffee will be provided.
All levels welcome.

Computer Classes for Beginners
Fridays 10.00am - 11.30am.
Classes are free and run for six weeks at a time. Participants are shown how to set up an email, how to use the internet, social media, youtube and lots more.
