Ennistymon Library - Brief History
On Friday, 28th April 2000, Mrs Tessie Hill retired as
Branch Librarian of Ennistymon Library, after a magnificent 38 years service.
Colleagues, past and present, met in the Falls Hotel to make a token presentation
to her and also to thank her for her dedication and friendship over the
years. Staff, friends and borrowers unite in wishing her health and happiness
in her "easy" years, and the library kettle will always be boiled
in anticipation of frequent social visits for tea and chat!
