Ennis Educate Together National School has been exhibiting the works of their 4th, 5th and 6th class pupils at the De Valera Library, Ennis. This exhibition runs until this Saturday, March 29th, and consists of work completed under the direction of Deirdre O'Mahony, the artist, college lecturer and parent.
The pupils are also exhibiting work prepared for the county town's St. Patrick's Day Parade, which was later cancelled. The cancellation of the parade was a particular blow because the pupils had carried out several workshops under the guidance of the renowned Galway-based Macnas Group. However, all is not lost as these costumes and work completed will be showcased in the annual Fleadh Nua Parade at the end of May.
