| Book Festival Week Clare Champion, Friday, 5th October 2007 Ennistymon Library is pleased to announce the following events in Ennistymon Library to celebrate this year's Children's Book Festival. On Monday, October 15, at 11.45am, author Malachy Doyle visits the Library. Malachy writes for children of all ages, as well as teenagers, but will be concentrating on 6 to 8 year-old groups in Ennistymon. A slide show on What we know about Bats in Ireland takes place on Tuesday, October 16, at 1.30pm. Conservation ranger David Lyons will present an hour-long show where all young nature enthusiasts will get to know bats through pictures and sound. Suitable for the 9 to 12 age groups. Events are rounded off on Monday, October 22, at 12 noon with a visit by the Dog and String Theatre Company who will present The Wishing Tree. This hour-long show explores a broad range of puppetry from life size puppets to animated objects and shadow puppetry. This event will suit the 5 to 10 year-old age groups.
