Ennistymon Features Strongly on Library Website

As Clare County Library's popular and informative website continues to develop and expand, Ennistymon in particular features more and more. Internet users at home and abroad can now directly access information on the history of the town, the background to its name, Brian Merriman, the 'Troubles', Ennistymon House and places to visit including the cascades, churchill, the shopfronts, courthouse studios and of course, Ennistymon Library. All three main areas of interest are dealt with in great accuracy and detail on the website.
Music and artistic events are also featured, such as the recent festival of traditional singing, the forthcoming Munster Fleadh Cheoil, an exhibition of students work from the Vocational School and the Courthouse Studios. Also, due soon on the library website is a comprehensive listing of Community services for the region, including clubs and societies, arts and cultural events, health and sporting bodies, craftworkers and alternative practitioners and so on.
Any group or individual wishing to feature on the website, free of charge, can contact the library in Ennistymon and members of the public can view the website at the library.
