Shannon library's busy schedule for young people continues throughout the month of July.

Artist Rachel Murphy will create and work along with 7 to 12 year olds tomorrow, Wednesday, July 25, at 3.00pm. Children between the ages of 7 and 12 will enjoy an arts and crafts afternoon on thursday, July 26, starting at 4.00pm.

The following day, July 27, a presentation on Irish bats will take place. Featuring imagery and sound, the show will allow those aged 7 and older the wonderful opportunity to discover the wonderful world of Irish bats.

Children can also take part in this year's Summer Reading Challenge, The Big Wild Read, which runs until the end of August. All events are free of charge. Booking is required for some events. Telephone 061-364266 for details.
