| Comprehensive new film and music collection in Shannon Irish Library News, November 2007 Following a successful pilot programme
in Ennis library, the Séan Lemass library in Shannon has launched
a comprehensive new film and music collection. The collection was launched
by the Mayor of Clare, Patricia McCarthy who said that: “Film and
music collections are being established at library branches in Shannon
and Scarriff as a result of the hugely successful collection at the De
Valera library in Ennis.” Executive librarian, Carrie Stafford said
that the collection included a range of film classics and that the music
collection featured selections from genres ranging from classical to popular
music. |
