"Recyclable
Newmarket" in Newmarket On Fergus Library
"Recyclable
Newmarket" was created by the fifth class pupils of Newmarket
National School under the supervision of their teacher Mary Rockett.
The exhibit will be displayed in Newmarket library for the duration
of the Easter holidays.
Using
all types of recyclable goods, some of the main buildings in Newmarket
village centre are represented such as the school, the Supervalu
supermarket, the Credit Union, the taxi office and housing estates.
Models
of these Newmarket landmarks were created from cereal boxes, milk
and ice cream cartons, cardboard boxes, and tins.
All
items are colourfully displayed and are either painted or covered
in coloured paper. The children have added their own toy vehicles
and figures to enhance the exhibition.
