The Story of Tracey Beaker by Jacqueline Wilson

The Story of Tracey Beaker by Jacqueline Wilson

Jacqueline Wilson has a rare gift of writing with humour about issues that are often highly emotional for children.

Tracy Beaker has had a hard time. She's been fostered several times but it's never worked out. She is ten years old now and lives in a Children’s Home. She yearns for her own real home one day within which she can be part of a real family. Then one day a writer called Cam visits the home and things begin to look up for Tracy.

Jacqueline Wilson is a prolific, prizewinning author who is most successful in dealing with painful social and personal problems in a realistic, funny and touching way. She is hugely popular with children and young teenagers, often providing help for them in solving their own personal issues.
