Jack is a successful American businessman who has left his job and family to rediscover himself through painting. Mirabelle is 21 years older than him, lives totally alone and has been blind since the age of 14. They meet when Mirabelle crashes into Jack’s easel. Through her heightened awareness of a Paris which they both love, she helps him to bring his paintings alive. Their love is intense but gentle and as the months pass Jack begins to see life in a different light.
